A person has been cut free by firefighters after a lorry overturned on a Fife road.
The HGV overturned on the B942 near Colinsburgh just after 8am on Wednesday.
Firefighters using cutting equipment removed the windscreen to free the person trapped inside the cab of the lorry.
The person was treated by paramedics at the scene and released.
Several fire engines, police and paramedics were called to the scene.
The road was shut for several hours while the lorry was recovered.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call from Police Scotland at 8.19am reporting an overturned HGV on the B942 near Colinsburgh.
“Four appliances from Methil, St Andrews, Anstruther and Macalpine Road in Dundee went to the scene.
“Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service were also at the crash.
“Firefighters used equipment to remove the windscreen and free one person trapped inside.
“We don’t know if it was the driver, and we have no reports on the person’s condition.
“We left the scene at 8.57am.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.15am on Wednesday, we received a report that an HGV had overturned on the B942 between Colinsburgh and Pittenweem.”
A spokesperson for Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 8.18am to attend a road traffic collision on the B942, Fife.
“We dispatched one ambulance and a special operations response team to the scene.”
They confirmed the casualty was treated and released at the scene.
