Thieves dragged a safe out of The Bayview in Dundee using a suitcase during an overnight break-in.
Police are investigating after the culprits targeted the pub and restaurant in Menzieshill in the early hours of Wednesday.
Forensic officers were at the scene on Earn Crescent at around 9am as part of the ongoing inquiry.
The safe lay in the car park as officers went in and out of the premises.

A spokesman for The Bayview told The Courier that CCTV footage showed three people involved in the break-in.
He said: “We’ve seen them on CCTV crawling around the premises.
“They dragged the safe out in a suitcase.
“From what we can see, they had their hoods up and two of them were wearing gloves.
“They left the area in a car.

“At this stage we don’t know what exactly has been taken.
“We’re hoping to open as normal today once the police have carried out their inquiries.
“It’s the second time we’ve been targeted this year.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 5.35am on Wednesday, June 18, officers received a report of a break-in at a premises on Earn Crescent, Dundee.
