Image: Kim Cessford/DC Thomson A 38-year-old man has been charged following an alleged dog attack on a girl in Dundee. The 11-year-old girl suffered a serious injury after she was reportedly bitten by the dog on a path near South Road on Monday. The youngster has since undergone surgery on the injury to her leg. Four days on, police have now confirmed they have arrested and charged a man, but the dog has still not been found. Hunt continues for dog after Dundee park ‘attack’ A spokesperson said: “Around 4.45pm on Monday, we received a report of a dog attack on a path between Forth Crescent and South Road in Dundee. “An 11-year-old girl was taken to Ninewells Hospital with a serious injury. “A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal. “Inquiries are ongoing to trace the dog.” The breed of dog has not been confirmed.
