Rail passengers in Fife faced major disruption after a train breakdown near North Queensferry.
Several services were delayed or cancelled after a train broke down on the line between Inverkeithing and Edinburgh at 12.35pm on Saturday.
The line reopened a short time later.
However, there was a knock-on effect on ScotRail services between Dundee, Perth, Cowdenbeath, Leven and Edinburgh until 6pm.
A National Rail update said: “Trains are now operating as normal between North Queensferry and Dalmeny following an earlier broken down train between these stations.”
