Two men charged and one injured after ‘disturbance’ in Kirkcaldy

Two men have been charged in connection with a “disturbance” in Kirkcaldy.

Police were called to Miller Street shortly after 9pm on Friday, where an incident involving two men was reported.

An 18-year-old and a 34-year-old were arrested at the scene and charged in connection with the disturbance.

The older man sustained a minor injury during the incident.

Both men are due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.10pm on Friday, 20 June, we received a report of disturbance in the Miller Street area of Kirkcaldy.

“A 34-year-old man sustained a minor injury and has been arrested and charged in connection.

“An 18-year-old man was also arrested and charged in connection.

“Both men are due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court at a later date.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
