A black BMW and a police car crashed after officers were called to a housebreaking in Dunfermline.
Officers had been sent to Dunlin Drive just before 4pm on Saturday.
A black BMW then fled from the scene after colliding with a police vehicle.

Reports suggest the road was shut following the incident.
A 17-year-old boy has appeared in court and a 24-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the housebreaking.
It has not been confirmed if the black BMW was traced.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.55pm on Saturday, June 21 police attended the Dunlin Drive area of Dunfermline, following a report of a housebreaking.
“A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He was due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday.
“A 24-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with this incident and enquiries are ongoing.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
