Stirling restaurant named best in Scotland for second year running

Mamma Mia won the award at Oceanic's Scottish Hospitality Awards 2025.

A Stirling Italian restaurant has been crowned the best in Scotland for the second year in a row.

Mamma Mia won the accolade at Oceanic’s Scottish Hospitality Awards 2025.

The city was also represented by The Orangery at Victoria Square, which won an outstanding achievement award.

Stirling’s Victoria Square won boutique hotel of the year and bed and breakfast of the Year.

Elsewhere, The Mexican in Perth was recognised for excellence.

Mamma Mia ‘beyond proud and grateful’

A post on Mamma Mia’s Facebook said the team was “beyond proud and grateful” for the award.

The Spittal Street restaurant took home the same award last year and was recently named best in the central belt at the Scotland-wide Italian Awards.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Hospitality Awards 2025 said: “We’re proud to once again get to showcase the remarkable talent and exceptional standards within Scotland’s vibrant hospitality industry.

“The people shortlisted for these awards have consistently demonstrated excellence, innovation, and dedication in their respective categories, setting the benchmark for quality and service within the Scottish hospitality industry.
