Our Arbroath town board wants residents’ views on how £20 million of UK Government funding should be spent
The next step in the drive to secure the seaside town as Scotland’s best is getting under way.
From Wednesday evening, Our Arbroath town board will stage three more public drop-in sessions.
These will gather more local views on how £20m of UK Government funding could transform the community.
The design workshops aim to build on the momentum of public engagement events held last month.
Our Arbroath says the local response has been hugely encouraging.
It is determined local voices will shape the future for Arbroath after it was announced as the only Angus recipient of the Long Term Plan for Towns funding in 2024.
Extensive work has already been done to home in on priority areas.

Our Arbroath chairman Peter Stirling said: “We will be listening all summer.
“The future of Arbroath really is in the hands of its people and now is the time to step forward to give us your vision.
“You can do that in many ways. We would really appreciate seeing you at the three events this week.
“But we will also be opening up online surveys as well as attending events and festivals,” he said.
How would you like to see the funding spent in Arbroath?
