A 12-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car near a Dundee playpark.
Police were called to Moncur Crescent at around 5.20pm on Tuesday, and the road was subsequently closed.
The closure affected the stretch between Strathmartine Road and Canning Street as emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police say the youngster was taken to Ninewells Hospital.
The extent of his injuries is not yet known.

One resident said there were a number of traffic officers at the scene around 5.30pm.
He said: “Someone was already in the ambulance when I arrived.
“The police had closed off an area near the playpark.
“Traffic police were in the middle of the road, and several paramedic crews were in attendance.
“The road wasn’t closed for too long.
“I hope the young lad is OK.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.20pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, we were called to a report of a 12-year-old boy struck by a car on Moncur Crescent, Dundee.
