A retired detective from Fife showcased her music knowledge on the hit Channel 4 quiz show PopMaster TV.
Jill, from Kirkcaldy, was one of five contestants competing for the show’s coveted silver disc on Thursday.
The show is adapted from the legendary PopMaster radio quiz, which originally aired on BBC Radio 2 for more than two decades before moving to Greatest Hits Radio.
Contestants face six rounds of music questions from host Ken Bruce, with the person with the fewest points dropping out after each round.
Jill, who said Prince is her favourite artist after attending one of his concerts in 1993, was up against Nick, a sales manager from Reading; Christina, originally from San Diego; Chris, a freelance sales trainer from the West Midlands; and retired GP Jeremy from Stockport..

Jill got off to the best possible start, winning the first round by answering all four of her questions correctly.
She then sailed through a strong round two, where she came second.
Jill continued to display her wide-ranging music knowledge by reaching the final head-to-head with fellow contestant Chris.
However, the Fifer’s luck finally ran out in the final round as she was narrowly beaten, despite answering questions on Rod Stewart and 80s pop duo Tears For Fears correctly.
The episode was broadcast on Channel 4 on Thursday and is available to watch now online.
