Hundreds joined the festivities on Castle Green as Broughty Ferry Gala Summer Festival took place on Sunday.
The annual festival marked the start of Broughty Ferry Gala Week, taking place from Sunday June 29 to Sunday July 6.
The event featured a wide range of attractions including a carnival, children’s fancy dress competitions, a barbecue, a beer tent, pipe bands, a display of supercars, and various stalls.
Local bands provided live music throughout the day, and visitors also had the chance to take a River Tay trip from Broughty Ferry Harbour, organised by Saltdog Marine Boats and Tours.
Funds raised during the week will go back into the local community. Beneficiaries include local primary schools through food voucher programmes and the Coats for Kids initiative.
Courier photographer Richie Hancox was there to capture all the activity.
