Police have charged an 18-year-old man after reports of a man brandishing a knife at a leisure park in Dunfermline.
The alleged incident happened shortly before midnight on Whimbrel Place, at Fife Leisure Park on Friday.
A large police presence was seen at the park.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At around 11.55pm on Friday we received reports of a man in possession of a knife outside a premises on Whimbrel Place in Dunfermline.
“Police attended and an 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
“There were no injuries.”
Inspector Simon Kinyua added: “I’m aware this incident will be concerning but I’d like to provide reassurance that it is being treated as isolated and there is no ongoing risk to the public.”
