A Scone road was shut after an ATM was ripped from a wall and thieves made off with cash.
Police were called to Perth Road at around 3.15am this morning.
The Courier understands an ATM was ripped from the wall before money was stolen.
Pictures from the scene show a heavy police presence with debris scattered outside the Co-op store.
Perth Road was closed between Victoria Road and Bonhard Road for several hours.
It reopened around 2pm.

Traffic was diverted via Stormont Road and the A93 at Scone Palace onto Isla Road in Perth.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.15am on Sunday, 29 June, 2025, we received a report of a break-in and theft of cash from an ATM at a premises on Perth Road, Scone.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 0636 of 29 June, 2025.”
