A body has been found in the search for a missing paddleboarder at a Fife beauty spot.
Emergency services launched a search around the water at Lochore Meadows for a 15-year-old boy.
A body was recovered at 1.20pm on Sunday and the teen’s family have been informed,
It comes after police, firefighters and coastguard teams descended on the country park on Saturday evening.
Emergency services, including the coastguard, remained in the area on Sunday to carry out searches.
A statement from police said: “Around 1.20pm on Sunday, 29 June, 2025, the body of a male youth was recovered from the water at Lochore Meadows, Crosshill, Fife.
“Formal identification has yet to take place however the family of a 15-year-old paddleboarder reported missing on Saturday, 28 June, have been informed.
“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
