A man has died on board a train at Kirkcaldy railway station.
The man went into cardiac arrest on board an Edinburgh to Dundee service on Sunday night.
Emergency services, including two ambulances, were called to the scene just before 10pm.
Onlookers said other passengers administered CPR while waiting for paramedics to arrive.
Police are continuing to investigate the man’s death.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Kirkcaldy station just before 10pm last night to reports of a person on board a train in cardiac arrest.
“Officers attended with paramedics and despite efforts, sadly, a man was pronounced deceased.
