Starbucks to reopen in Perth city centre with freebies to celebrate refurbishment

A Starbucks branch in Perth city centre is set to reopen after a month of refurbishment work.

The High Street store will open its doors for customers at 6am on Tuesday.

To celebrate, the first 50 customers who use the StarbucksUK app will receive a free reusable cup.

An Instagram account linked to the store announced the reopening last week, before an opening date was confirmed.

The statement said: “We’re brewing with excitement to announce that Starbucks Perth High Street will be reopening soon after our refurbishment.

“We’ve truly missed being a part of your daily routines and can’t wait to welcome you back through our doors.

“The Perth community has always been incredibly supportive, and we’re so grateful for your patience and understanding during this time.

“We’re looking forward to re-joining you all and creating new memories over your favourite coffees.

“See you soon.”

A new Starbucks drive-thru next to the Broxden Roundabout is set to open after plans were approved by councillors last year.
