Image: Google Maps A man was found seriously injured on a Perth street in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The 34-year-old has been taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. A man and woman have been arrested after the incident. It happened on Fairfield Avenue, which was closed by police after the man was found. It has since reopened. Man found seriously injured on Perth’s Fairfield Avenue An eyewitness said on social media that police and ambulance were in attendance at the scene when they passed at around 3.45am. A police spokesperson said: “Around 2.55am on Wednesday July 2 we were called to a report of a man seriously injured on Fairfield Avenue in Perth. “Emergency services attended and a 34-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee. “A 46-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman have been arrested in connection. “Inquiries are ongoing.” A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 3.16am to attend an incident on Crieff Road, Perth. “We dispatched one ambulance to the scene, and we transported one patient to Ninewells Hospital. Dundee.”
