Three youths were captured breaking in to Scran@64 on Upper Craigs.

CCTV footage has captured the moment three youths broke in and filmed themselves ‘stealing kitchen knives’ from a Stirling cafe.

The thieves, believed to be young boys, broke into Scran@64 on Upper Craigs in the city centre early on Tuesday morning.

Bosses at the lunch spot told The Courier that the boys entered through a window and “carefully” picked out knives to steal.

The footage appears to show at least one of the youths filming themselves while inside the cafe.

“In the early hours of Tuesday morning three boys went to the back of the shop and climbed on top of the bins to open the window,” the cafe said.

“One of the youths carefully picked out knives to steal, and the other cracked into the till and ripped it out.

“They were recording themselves while they did this.

“They stole the cakes, milk, hot chocolate and even toilet paper.

“The till was taken outside and smashed up until a neighbour heard them and shouted at them to be quiet.

“They did all this while blatantly filming themselves.”
