Perth and Kinross guests donned their finest frocks and smartest suits to party at the palace this week.
The annual royal garden party at Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh celebrated people who have made a significant contribution to Scottish life.
They included a large contingent from Perth and Kinross, among them Evelyn Goodwillie and Kayti Masson.
The mother and daughter pair opened Elegance of Perth, the hat shop in Atholl Street, in 1988.
They have kitted out many garden party guests over the decades so were thrilled to receive an invitation to attend themselves this year.
And a chat with the King himself on Tuesday was the icing on the cake.
Other Perth and Kinross stars included CareSound Radio volunteers and Jimmy Comrie, from Crieff, who recently received a BEM for more than 50 years’ service to Scouting.
Alex Cairncross, Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross, said: “Invited guests are a great inspiration to others and deserving of recognition for their achievements which span many fields.”
Here are some of the other Perth and Kinross garden party guests in all their finery.
