Work has been agreed to ensure Levemouth’s new river park is maintained.
Upgrades are under way on the seven-mile active travel network between Cameron Bridge and Bawbee Bridge.
Running alongside the River Leven, it will include three or four metre-wide paths.
New play areas, benches, picnic tables and signage are also planned.
And new native trees, shrubs and wildflowers will be planted along the entire route.
The River Park maintenance agreement was a condition of planning approval.
It will ensure all plants and furniture are inspected, cleaned and maintained regularly.
