The annual gathering is the only one on the Scottish Highland Games Association calendar to take place in the evening.
And a packed crowd of locals and visitors enjoyed a programme of entertainment, including the throwing of the Tirinie Stone – a huge almost spherical stone found at Tirinie Farm, Kenmore, and weighing 101lbs, or 46kg.
A relative newcomer to the circuit, the Kenmore Highland Games in their current form date back to 1972.
But the games field – in a natural amphitheatre close to the head of Loch Tay – was the same one used for the Breadalbane Gathering of 1843.
It was held by Lord Breadalbane to celebrate the famous visit of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to Taymouth Castle in 1842.
Here are some of the best photos from the night.
