A new concept jewellery store is set to open in Dundee’s Overgate Shopping Centre.
Italian brand Nomination will take over an empty unit next to Chopstix on the centre’s upper floor.
An opening date for the new shop has not been revealed.
Argento, which operates the brand’s stores, has submitted a building warrant application to Dundee City Council for £100,000 worth of work to refit the unit.
The shop will feature a range of jewellery, including Nomination’s Composable collection, which allows buyers to build bracelets link by link.
Italian jewellery brand to open ‘concept’ store in Dundee Overgate
An Argento statement said: “Nomination’s new concept store in Overgate Shopping Centre Dundee will be a must-visit destination for fashion-forward shoppers looking to add a personal touch to their jewellery collection.”
Emma Filmer, managing director at Argento, said: “We know how much shoppers love Nomination’s unique and stylish jewellery, and we can’t wait to share this new experience with the local community of Dundee in the coming months.”
Nomination was founded in Florence in the 1980s and the company’s jewellery is made in Italy.
Its products use materials such as stainless steel, gold, rose gold and sterling silver.
Meanwhile, Argento jewellery retailer has 24 stores nationwide and aims to “bring stylish, high-quality jewellery to customers at accessible price points.”
It comes after city centre shops saw a boost in visitors following the opening of the new Frasers department store last month.
The Overgate is also set to benefit from the opening of a new Hotel Chocolat store and the expansion of the current Superdrug shop.
