Pictures and video as Tayside and Fife hit by flooding

Torrential rain in Tayside and Fife led to travel disruption and school closures.

Roads and railways were affected by the downpour that came a day after yellow and amber warnings were put in place across the region.

Angus Council confirmed all schools in Brechin, Montrose, Forfar and Kirriemuir, along with many in rural areas, were closed on Friday.

Here is a selection of images showing the disruption in parts of Courier Country.
