An Inverbervie man has been found safe and well after a major police search.
Duncan Adam, 55, was reported missing from his home on Sunday. A major multi-agency was launched and his car was found parked at the National Nature Reserve at St Cyrus.
Montrose lifeboat was called out to assist with the ongoing search.
However, police have this morning confirmed Mr Adam is safe.
The North East Division said: “We can confirm that Duncan Adam who was earlier reported missing from the Inverbervie area has been traced safe and well in the Montrose area. Many thanks to those who assisted by sharing the original post.”
