Arbroath Lifeboat volunteers left their Sunday lunch behind after a yacht got into trouble on Sunday.
The crew were requested to launch the all-weather lifeboat to escort a yacht back into Arbroath marina.
The lone yachtsman requested assistance after suffering engine troubles one mile south east of the harbour entrance.
The ALB transferred a crewman to the yacht to assist the lone sailor back to the harbour and moor alongside safely.
