A number of Angus homes were without water after a burst main created a ‘fountain’ on a Carnoustie road.
Water gushed up from the ground in Balmachie Road, near the roundabout that links David Moyes Road and Isla Avenue, affecting around 19 properties on Friday.
The flooding was close to a housing development currently being built.
Speaking at the time, a Scottish Water spokesperson said: “Customers in Balmachie Road, Carnoustie are experiencing disruption to normal water supply following a burst water main.
“Engineers are on site to repair the eight inch main and restore supplies to affected properties as quickly as possible.
“Scottish Water apologises for any inconvenience caused as a result of the burst and thanks those affected for their patience and understanding.”
The water supply was fixed within a few hours of the incident being reported.
