Montrose’s East Links will be transformed once again into the House of Fun, when ska legends Madness return to the town this summer.

The band – one of the most successful British pop groups of all time – will bring their love of pop back to Montrose when they headline a huge outdoor concert on the East Links on Saturday August 24.

They performed in the town back in the summer of 2015 which featured some of the band’s pop classics including House of Fun; Driving in My Car; It Must Be Love; Our House; and Baggy Trousers.

The band commented: “Madheads and all we’re coming out to see ya, summer wouldn’t be the same if you weren’t there to dance and sing to all our nutty sounds.”

The show is being organised by concert promoter, LCC Live, as part of ‘Live at the Links’ which has already announced pop superstar Jess Glynne will perform on Friday August 23.

Tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am and can be purchased from Ticketline (www.ticketline.co.uk; 0844 888 9991).
