An Inchture man smashed a window at a Perth hotel after being unable to get a taxi home or find a bed for the night.
Robin Alcorn jumped on a ledge at the Royal George Hotel in Perth and kicked the glass after finding it was closed for the festive period.
He admitted wilfully destroying property by kicking the glass on December 27 last year. Fiscal depute Rebecca Kynaston said Alcorn had been on a night out and after failing to find a taxi to take him home to Meadowview Drive in Inchture, he then tried to check into a hotel.
However he found the doors at the George Street hotel locked.
