The 32-year-old was found guilty of 17 charges, four of which were rapes, at the High Court in Dundee.

Following the jury’s verdict, judge Lord Weir said: “You have been convicted of a series of offences which reflect a very serious course of emotional, physical and sexual abuse.

“Although you have previously offended, in terms of the record that has been tendered to me the nature and circumstances to these offences orders me to call for a criminal justice social work report.”

Multiple attacks

Duncan was convicted of shouting, swearing and making racial remarks to the first victim between November 26, 2007 and March 23, 2008 as well as taking indecent images of her without her consent and making threats.

During the same period, Duncan repeatedly punched the woman on the head and body, locked her in her home, seized her throat and caused her to lose consciousness to the danger of her life.

The woman was raped by Duncan on various occasions during the same time period.

Between January 1 and July 5, 2009, Duncan assaulted the second woman by striking her head against a mirror, seizing her hair and seizing her throat.

He raped the woman and took indecent images of her and posted them online.

A third woman had her face struck against a car steering wheel by Duncan and had her neck pushed towards an exposed gear stick.

Duncan, a prisoner of HMP Perth, applied the handbrake as she drove and kicked a door which struck her hand.

He also seized her throat to the danger of her life.

These offences were committed between September 1 2009 and June 28 2011.

Sentencing in November

The brute was convicted of raping the same woman between December 1, 2010 and June 28, 2011 as well as taking indecent images of her.

A fourth woman was subjected to verbal abuse by Duncan between February 1 and May 7, 2012 as well as being choked and raped.

Between May 1, 2013 and September 30, 2015, Duncan repeatedly punched and kicked another woman on the head and body, pulled her hair, seized her neck and restricted her breathing.

Jurors also found Duncan guilty of repeatedly punching and kicking a sixth woman between August 2, 2018 and July 22, last year as well as twisting her arm, seizing her throat and causing her to lose consciousness to the danger of her life.

The woman was also secretly filmed by Duncan while she was naked.

Duncan will be sentenced at the High Court in Livingston in November following the preparation of reports.
