The father of a woman who died at a property in an Angus town has paid tribute to his “beautiful daughter”.
Emergency services were called to a flat on Brechin’s Swan Street at 1.30am on Sunday but could not save Neomi Smith, 23.
Neomi’s heartbroken dad John Smith took to Facebook to pay tribute to his daughter.
In a public post he wrote: “Today I can confirm the tragic loss of my beautiful daughter Neomi.
“She was my life, my everything and my heart has been completely broken. To be taken from me at such a young age.
“Sweet dreams my little angel. Till we meet again. Miss you with all my heart, love you always. Dad xx.”
The tribute includes a video featuring a number of photos of his daughter.
Friends have also paid tribute to Ms Smith describing her as a “loving, caring girl” and “one of a kind.”
Flowers have been lain by the shared entrance to the property where she died.
One read: “You will be missed so much. You didn’t deserve this. Such a loving, caring girl. Have a heart [sic] for everyone. I’ll never forget you.”
A second described her as “truly one of a kind.”
Another note read: “You will forever be in my heart. Not only were you my bff. You were a big sister.
“I will cherish every single memory we made. Rest in peace beautiful. I love you always.”
