Sean Dillon testimonial year launched by his biggest fan – TV star Lorraine Kelly

TV star Lorraine Kelly was at Tannadice to kick-off a testimonial year for her favourite football player, Dundee United’s Sean Dillon.

The famous United supporter was joined by Gordon Deuchars, the committee, and Sean himself to showcase a series of events that will include two golf days, a race day and night, sportsman’s dinner, fashion show, gala dinner and testimonial match.

Lorraine said: “Sean is absolutely fantastic, as we know.

“It is very unusual these days in football for someone to have been at a club for a decade.

“That loyalty should be rewarded and that is why we are all here to look forward to his testimonial year.

“He deserves it, he really does.

“It’s not only about how he is on the pitch but he is a fantastic ambassador.

“He is the kind of player everyone would want on their side.

“We are very lucky to have him here at United.”
