Two thugs who stabbed a man with a screwdriver are facing jail.
Andrew Mason, 23, a prisoner at Perth, was remanded in custody by Sheriff Alastair Carmichael, while his co-accused Nadine Kelbie, 21, of Colister Gardens in Sheffield, was granted bail.
Both admitted that they assaulted Nathan Gray by repeatedly punching him on the head and striking him on the body with a screwdriver at Court Street North on January 31, while on bail.
Kelbie also admitted possessing a screwdriver on Court Street North on the same date, while on bail.
Sentence on Mason was deferred for reports until July 30, while Kelbie’s sentence was deferred, also for reports, until August 14.
