Andrew Bayne, 55, of Kirkton Crescent, appeared in private on petition.
It is alleged that he possessed indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children and that he had taken or permitted to be taken or made indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children at Kirkton Crescent between January 14 2016 and November 30 2017.
He made no plea and was remanded while the case was continued.
