Liam Allen was meant to be confined to his house in Dundee between 7pm and 7am after he was given bail last month. But Perth Sheriff Court heard he was spotted by cops near the festival site, on one of its access roads, after his curfew was meant to begin. Fiscal depute Jim Eodonable told the court: “It is a simple case – he wasn’t where he should have been when he should have been there. “He was detained and gave no problems to the officers.” Allen, 23, of Kinghorne Road, Dundee, pleaded guilty to a charge of breaching bail on summary complaint. Defence lawyer Mike Short asked he be released on bail and the case be transferred to Dundee to call alongside another matter in August. Sheriff William Wood sent the case to Dundee to call again on August 4. This article originally appeared on the Evening Telegraph website. For more information, read about our new combined website.
