All six men are charged with conspiracy to rob a commercial premises within St Andrews on March 2 and 3 at Aboyne Street, Glasgow, West Nile Street, Glasgow, Wardlaw Gardens, St Andrews, and elsewhere.

The charge states they pursued this conspiracy by hiring a car, travelling to Glasgow, purchasing a roll of tape and two knives, travelling to St Andrews, transporting two motor scooters which were stolen to St Andrews in a van, and transporting hammers, sledge hammers, a machete, a meat clever, and a knife to St Andrews.
