Detectives have issued a new plea for information after a three figure sum of cash was stolen from a Dundee newsagent.
The Avenue Newsagents on Blackness Avenue was targeted in the raid at around 5.45pm on 17 February.
Officers are keen to trace man described as being in mid twenties, who was wearing a blue/black coloured hooded jacket with black tracksuit bottoms and trainers. He was also wearing black gloves.
The shop owner was shaken following the incident but was not injured.
Officers are also keen to speak with a woman who was in the hairdressing salon next door known as Vision Hair at the time.
Detective Constable Ryan Thompson said: “We would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and in particular this lady who was in the hairdressing salon next door to the newsagents.
“If anyone has any information that could assist us with our enquiries, please contact Tayside Division on 101 or speak to any police officer.
“You can also provide information anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
