Hundreds packed out the streets of Tayside and Fife across the weekend to herald in the festive season.

Dundee, Carnoustie, Kirriemuir, Stonehaven, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Alyth, Kinross and Crieff were among the communities to hold packed Christmas lights switch-on events.
