A helicopter circling around Dundee this morning is filming the city for upcoming crime show Traces.
Filming started on the series, created by Val McDermid, earlier this week in Dundee.
Traces explores the world of forensic science in Tayside.
The helicopter set off from Dundee Airport this morning to catch shots of the city.

It is operated by PDG Aviation, who specialise in aerial filming.
Traces star Martin Compston was seen interacting with locals in-between takes in the city centre on Tuesday.

On Wednesday the crew were in Wellington Street, where the road was closed for filming. Footage below shows filming taking place, including a scene involving actress Molly Windsor on a cycle.

He even took a break from filming to post a photo of himself next to the Oor Wullie statue.
