A man is set to appear in court after a fire and disturbance in Methil on Saturday evening.
Emergency crews were reported by locals on the Taylor Street area of the Fife town shortly after 10pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman confirmed crews had attended.
She said: “We dealt with a fire within a property using one hose reel. Crews attended from Kirkcaldy and Methil.
“There is no note of any injuries.”
Man to appear in court
Police Scotland said officers had attended and a 59-year-old man had been arrested as a result of the incident.
A spokesman told The Courier: “Around 10.10pm on Saturday, 10 December, 2022, police were called to a property on Taylor Street, Methil, following reports of a disturbance and a fire.
“A 59-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday.”
