Five people are due in court charged in connection with an attempted murder in Kirkcaldy town centre over the weekend.
The charges come after a 32-year-old man was rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with a serious injury to his arm following what police described as an altercation at around 10.30pm on Saturday.
Four men and a woman were subsequently arrested in connection with the attack in the pedestrianised area of the High Street.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland has confirmed four men aged 21, 23, 24 and 25 and a woman aged 21 have been charged and will appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in due course.
Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
