A Mearns road which was closed due to subsidence is due to reopen on Thursday.
Part of the A957 in Stonehaven was shut following the discovery in mid-July.
Two homes had to be evacuated after subsidence was detected.
Aberdeenshire Council has now confirmed that the road will partially reopen on Thursday at 7am.
In a statement on social media, a spokesperson said: “There will be traffic signals in place and the traffic will be restricted to one lane.
“Pedestrian crossing and access will be maintained.”
