Jewellery is a gift that everyone loves to get – no matter the occasion. And one Forfar jewellers has become a must-visit for fans of bling!

ZD Jewellery Design is an award-winning jewellery business, created in 2009 by Duncan of Jordanstone design graduate Zoe Hunter.

As a bench jeweller and designer at heart, the business was initially set up as a place for Zoe to create handmade jewellery. But the business has grown it has become a family affair, with Zoe’s husband Chris joining the business.

Earlier this year, ZD Jewellery moved to 10 The Cross, Forfar, giving them much more space and a prominent position within the town.

Zoe and Chris have spent time carefully selecting a wide range of products to sell within their shop, with a balance between top brand names, independent designers and hand-picked products from UK companies.

The shop has a wide range of watches, including Sekonda, Pulsar, Accurist and Rotary and the largest jewellery selection is from Hot Diamonds and is complimented by Ortak, Elements Jewellery, D for Diamond and Lily Charmed. A selection of pearl jewellery from family run company Michiko Pearls and beautiful diamond and gemstone jewellery from N.Vogel and Son’s is popular with customers.

Supporting independent design is at the core of the shop, with a wide selection of handmade products by fellow Duncan of Jordanstone graduates plus many other Scottish designer/makers.

ZD Jewellery is passionate about giving these talented makers a platform to sell their handmade designs which is perfect for customers looking for something just that little bit different.

ZD Jewellery also offers a watch battery and strap replacement service; and watch repairs, luxury watch servicing and glass replacement can be arranged. Insurance valuations, clock repairs, engraving, free advice and recommendations and every aspect of jewellery repair are all carried out to a high standard.
