Four men and three women have been arrested in connection with a climate change protest that saw activists scale an oil rig in Dundee.
Emergency services including police, the Coastguard and the Ambulance Service were on the scene at Port of Dundee on Monday evening following a protest organised by Extinction Rebellion.
The activists came down from the rig at around 5.10pm, just hours after the planned ten-day protest began.
Extinction Rebellion said the women climbed down as the wind proved “too much”.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Police can confirm that four men and three women have been arrested in connection with the incident.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
