
A former High School of Dundee pupil to is set to embark on an African marathon for charity.
Vanita Nathwani, 24, from Carnoustie, is taking part in the Sierra Leone marathon in aid of the Street Child charity next month.
The country is currently rebuilding after the Ebola outbreak.
Vanita said: “I have family rooted in East Africa and my father specialises in research to help fight infectious disease, so it makes sense that Street Child’s cause feels close to home.”
