Two men are due to appear in court over a five-figure heroin and cocaine haul in Dundee.
Police Scotland said the men, aged 18 and 24, were charged in connection with drugs offences following a proactive operation in the city’s Arklay Terrace on Monday.
The operation took place around 4pm, leading to the seizure of heroin and cocaine with a total estimated street value of more than £12,000.
A four-figure sum of cash was also recovered.
Police said the two men are due to appear at the city’s sheriff court later on Tuesday.
Dundee area commander, Chief Inspector David McIntosh said: “Drug misuse brings nothing but misery to our communities and I want to reassure the people in Dundee and wider Tayside area that we will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from the community.
“These efforts have continued throughout the ongoing pandemic and offenders should not believe themselves to be beyond the reach of the law.
