PICTURES: Locked down Dundee students get free copies of The Courier after messages displayed on windows

Students locked up in Parker House will at least be able to keep up to date with the latest news from Tayside and Fife and further afield thanks to a delivery of today’s paper.

The student accommodation is under lockdown after a resident tested positive for coronavirus earlier this week. Hundreds of people have been told to self-isolate as a result.

Most affected study at Abertay University, which started its academic year this week.

To help pass the time for those stuck in their rooms, The Courier delivered 150 copies of today’s newspaper.

Within the paper is the latest coverage of the Parker House situation, as well as all the best news from Tayside, Fife and across the world.

Some of the students may even spot their own handiwork on the front page, after several of them wrote — mostly humorous — messages on their windows for passers-by.

Among them were “darn bro corona” and “we vibing”.
