A search is expected to resume today for a Tayside pensioner who went missing in his pyjamas at the weekend.
Police, RNLI crews and a Coastguard helicopter were involved in the hunt for the retired geography teacher Jack Greenway between Broughty Ferry and Monifieth yesterday.

Police Scotland said the last sighting of 77-year-old Mr Greenway was made at around 11pm on Saturday night on the Esplanade in Broughty Ferry.
Concerns over his wellbeing trigged a search effort which swung into action in the early hours.
It included the launch of Broughty Ferry all-weather and inshore lifeboats.
A Coastguard helicopter was also involved and spent the morning circling the River Tay near the Ferry.
A significant police effort was also dedicated to the search effort, with officers joined by Coastguard personnel.
Mr Greenway is described as being five feet eight inches tall, with white hair, a white beard and of slim build.
Concerns for his wellbeing increased after it was reported he may only have been wearing dark pyjamas when he went missing.
Police Scotland have urged local residents to check sheds, garages and other outbuildings in the search for Mr Greenway.
A spokesperson added: “He is local to Broughty Ferry and is a keen walker along the Esplanade and surrounding areas.”
Mr Greenway is a popular and well-known figure in the Ferry and previously taught at Menzieshill High School in Dundee.
He has lived in the area for more than 40 years and is a passionate campaigner against litter being left on Broughty Ferry beach, where he regularly picks up rubbish.
A Maritime and Coastguard Agency spokesperson said they were involved in assisting Police Scotland in the search from around 4am.
Their involvement in the incident ended later in the morning, the spokesperson added.

The spokesperson said it is likely the search for Mr Greenway will resume today when conditions allow.
