Pupils will start studying at the new Harris Academy in just a few weeks, three years after the previous building was demolished.
The £31 million school has been modernised for its pupils and for the community who will be able to access many of its facilities out with school hours.
A 3D printer, 25m swimming pool and recording studio are just some of the new features that will be unveiled when the first wave of students arrives on June 6.
Staff and students alike are currently going through an induction process to integrate into the new building.
Showing off the new school at a special media preview today, headteacher Barry Millar said he was proud of the work that had been done on the school.
He said: “I’m really happy. It’s a building that has very much been designed with open space in mind. There’s a lot of flexible space.
“There is a lot of training for the staff to get to grips with the new equipment.
“They’re looking forward to getting back to Harris’ home.”
Kirsten Ferrier, 17, a Menzieshill student, said: “It’s a lot more modern. It’s going to be weird being in such a big school – it’s a massive change.
“Over the next week with the induction we will get to meet loads of new people and new groups, and learning about all the different opportunities.”
