Steven Drummond made no plea after being detained on suspicion of carrying a knife
A 28-year-old man who is alleged to have been spotted carrying a knife at various sites throughout Dundee has appeared in court.
Steven Drummond, of Saggar Street, Dundee, is said to have been carrying the weapon during the afternoon of May 30 at the city’s Saggar Street, City Road, Cleghorn Street and Benvie Road.
Officers detained Drummond at a site on Benvie Road shortly after noon after receiving complaints from members of the public.
No one was injured as a result of the incident, but police confirmed that several neighbours were left in a state of alarm.
Drummond appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court where he made no plea or declaration.
He is due to appear at a further hearing next week.
