A 30-year-old woman has appeared in court charged with murdering Dundee mum Marie Low.
Siobhan Russell, Ballantrae Terrace, appeared on petition alleging murder at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
She is alleged to have stabbed Marie Low with a knife and murdered her at Ballantrae Terrace on Sunday.
She made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
Solicitor Gary Fowlis, for Russell, asked that she be released on bail.
However, Sheriff Lorna Drummond QC remanded Russell in custody ahead of a further hearing next week.
